Recently, several of our students participated in the annual Bluebonnet Competition. Each year, 20 books are chosen for the Texas Bluebonnet Award List. Schools and libraries around the state participate in the program, encouraging students to read a minimum of five books from the list. Ms. Rodriguez, our school librarian sponsored a group of children and they were exceptional in their performance. They came in 8th place among all the elementary schools in the district. Congratulations to these readers and Ms. Rodriguez.
